Dr Shrey Shah is an experienced dental practitioner offering a range of dental services including complex restorations, full mouth rehabilitation, Smile design, Dental implants, Wisdom teeth extractions, Root canal treatment, Crowns and bridges, Paediatric dentistry and Family dentistry. Dr Shah graduated from Gujarat University in India in 2011. He practised in India for a multi-location practice for two-and-a-half years before moving to Australia in 2014. He completed his Australian registration requirement in 2016 and since has been working in a number of private practices. Throughout his career, he has always been up to date with the latest innovations in dentistry and keeps enhancing his skills with continuing professional education to provide his patients the best service possible. - It’s important to store your athletic mouthguard in a cool, dry place. Leaving it in a car or cleaning it with boiling water can cause irreversible warping and damage to the acrylic.
- When you’re not wearing your sports guard, keep it in the case. We recommend cleaning it with lukewarm soapy water at least once a week or more to prevent bacterial build-up.
- Adults with fully developed smiles can keep wearing their guard year after year. However, if you get braces or update your dental work, you’ll likely need a new mouthguard made once the athletic season starts back up.

If you’ve never worn a custom mouthguard, the creation process is quite simple. We’ll book you for a quick impression to create moulds of your smile. From there, you’ll select the colour of your preference, and we’ll get to work. About 3-4 days later, your athletic bite guard will be ready for pick up.
